The Story: The sequel to "House of 1000 Corpses" centers on a band of bounty hunters led by Sheriff Wydell's brother who is fueled by revenge when he finds out that his kin was slain by the Firefly family. The film will pick up shortly after the first with the Firefly clan going on the road after their house is burned down and a few family members have been gunned down during a police raid.

2004-10-04 [hERO79]: If you listen to the Corpses dvd commentary by Rob Zombie the old man Hugo was supposed to be Dr. Satan! I'm glad they changed it.

2004-10-04 [hERO79]: They rewrote the script a lot during filming.

2004-10-04 [hERO79]: He also mentions a lot more gore was cut out and hints at a future unrated version down the road.

2004-10-04 [IwAsBuTaMnOmOrE]: I watched it last night...but fell asleep when Baby was doing her "act"...I think that is so funny...Damn those girls that the dudes have for girlfriends are soooo not fun...They didn't want to go on the murder ride....they didn't like baby's performance....they deserved what they got....I'll have to listen to the end again as well...and yea...gore is cool....the gorier the better..... Yea...so glad they didn't use grandpa for Dr. Satan!!! Grandpa was disgusting...gets all in my wanting to spit mode thinking about his description of him and grandma....*SPITS* Yea...I can't wait for the next one.

2004-10-05 [hERO79]: I wished Rob would've given the characters more depth because in all honesty you just don't give a shit about them. But what Rob wanted to make a was a movie where you cheered for the bad guys, and on that level he suceeded. In the next one I believe there's going to be a counter family that they Firefly family goes up against so in a sense they will become the heros of the story.

2004-10-05 [hERO79]: What's cool is that he's created a wild bunch of anti-heros that I still can't believe is being released by a major studio. Most big studios shy away from that sort of stuff, but that's why I like Lions Gate. They just don't give a fuck. They respect the genre fans. Check out the preview of SAW to see what I mean. That looks really nasty.
